This season is mainly inspired by the representation of the mystical and spiritual culture of the Rising Sun ancient people, simple and waste averse. The Japanese soul is represented through the lining and fabrics of ancient Sashiko art, a traditional Japanese sewing technique, created to reinforce and repair materials.

The technique, indeed, was used in ancient times for the assembly of pieces of fabrics that are still usable or for the mending of worn kimonos, called Boro Boro, from which is born Boro Sashiko. Over time Sashiko has evolved a lot, acquiring new criteria and designations, becoming a refined needle ornamental technique.

An important characteristic of Japanese culture is the love for beauty and elegance, concepts found in the Sashiko embroideries that stand out today for their apparent simplicity and well suited to modern needs for different uses in the textile sector.
